Alazaya Rhae Smith - Student Representative

Alazaya Rhae Smith, Ritenour High School class of 2025, was sworn in as a student representative on the Ritenour Board of Education on May 9, 2024.  She will continue to serve in an advisory position until April 2025.

Although student representatives on the school board cannot vote, Smith will serve in an advisory position and provide a student perspective on important issues that the Board discusses and takes action on.  Smith says that she hopes to make a difference during her time as Board of Education Student Representative.

“I believe I can make a difference for the Ritenour Board of Education,” Smith said.  “Being in the Ritenour School District for my entire life, I know the concerns that students have and will work hard to ensure that all student voices can be heard.”

Smith is the fifth student representative to serve on the school board.
