Giana Fouche - Student Representative

Giana Fouché, Ritenour High School class of 2027, was sworn in as a student representative on the Ritenour Board of Education on April 9, 2026.  She will continue to serve in an advisory position until April 2027.

Although student representatives on the school board cannot vote, Fouché will serve in an advisory position and provide a student perspective on important issues that the Board discusses and takes action on.  Fouché says she hopes to make a difference during her time as Board of Education student representative.  

“The role of the student advisor to the Ritenour Board of Education is to be a voice for their peers, to bridge the gap between students and the Board,” Fouché said. “My goal as the student advisor, would not only be to communicate the opinions and perspectives of my peers, but to amplify their voices and to ensure that they feel heard.”

Fouché is the seventh student representative to serve on the school board.
