Lisa Glover-Jones - Director
Mrs. Glover-Jones was elected to a three-year term on the Board of Education in 2018 and was re-elected in 2021. She was originally appointed to the board to fill a vacancy in June of 2016. She was elected to a one-year term to serve the unexpired term of a board member in 2017.
Mrs. Glover-Jones and her family moved to the Ritenour School District after relocating from the Washington D.C./Baltimore area. She and husband Gerald, have two children.
While living in Ritenour, Mrs. Glover-Jones has immersed herself in her children’s schools and on district committees. While her children attended Kratz Elementary, she served as PTO president and vice presidents well as an involved member of the Kratz School Improvement Team. At the district level, she has served on the strategic planning, quality curriculum, calendar and trust advisory committees.
After graduating with a bachelor’s in biology from Alabama A&M University and a Master of Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Mrs. Glover-Jones began a diverse health and wellness career that has included physical therapy, health education and mental health services. She currently is the supervisor with Child Health Advocacy and Outreach (CHAO) at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where she works to ensure that children who live in vulnerable areas receive basic health screenings, immunizations, dental services and asthma care.
Mrs. Glover-Jones’ term on the board expires in April 2027.
