Rob Eaton - Director
Mr. Eaton was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Ritenour Board of Education in October of 2022.
Mr. Eaton has been an active volunteer member of the Ritenour School District community for many years. He has two children - one at Ritenour Middle School and one at Ritenour High School. He is a lifelong Ritenour resident who attended Wyland Elementary and Ritenour Middle School before graduating from Ritenour High School.
Mr. Eaton is the vice president of the county-wide Special School District Parent Advisory Council – also known as the PAC. Members of the PAC advise and collaborate to improve the education, confidence and social outcomes of each student served by SSD.
Mr. Eaton also has been a lead volunteer in other capacities for Ritenour, which includes being:
- The Hoech and Ritenour Middle School PTO president
- Chairperson of the district’s PTO Presidents Team, which coordinates efforts of PTOs from all Ritenour schools
- Chairperson of the annual Black & Orange Back-to-School Bash
- Being active on the Citizens for Ritenour’s Future Committee for the Proposition S Bond issue, which voters approved in June 2020
When he is not volunteering for Ritenour, he is a teacher at North County Christian School and is the pastor of a local church. Mr. Eaton’s wife, Tracey, is also a Ritenour graduate.
Mr. Eaton's term expires in April 2026.
