Empower Learning

When you log in, you will be prompted to choose a student from the drop-down menu.   You will see a list of the courses that your child is enrolled in. 
 

Every class shows a pacing indicator on the homepage. Download Empower Pacing: What Parents Need to Know PDF here.

This indicates whether a student is on pace, ahead of pace, or behind pace to achieve proficiency on all the proficiency scales for the class by the end of the course or school year.
 

A student's achieved growth should be aligned with the target growth. 

• Each week, log in to your Empower account online at https://ritenour.empowerlearning.net

• Check your child's progress and scores on homework and classwork. 

• Talk to your student about the proficiency scales they enjoy, and ask about areas where they may be struggling.

• Once a month, talk to your student’s teachers about strengths and growth areas. Praise your child’s successes and offer to help with any challenges.
