Title I Parent Involvement

The elementary and middle schools schools in the Ritenour School District provide Title I programs for students. This means that we are able to offer support for students to make continuous progress in reading and mathematics. That support includes specialized training for our teachers, support of intervention specialists, supplemental resource materials, along with extended day and extended year programs for identified students. In addition, we offer programs throughout the school year to increase parent understanding of our programs, as well as learning about strategies to support student learning at home.

While we are fortunate to have access to funding for these programs, we know that the key to student learning and achievement lies in the school/family partnership. Throughout the school year, we will be providing multiple opportunities to work together. Those opportunities will be communicated to you through school and district newsletters and websites.
