Substitute Information
Substitute teachers are a very important part of Ritenour's educational community, and we welcome their efforts to help our students learn. In order to apply for a substitute teaching position with Ritenour, one must have a minimum of 60 hours of college credit or 20 hours of online training to qualify for a substitute teacher's certificate, or hold a Missouri teaching certificate. Individuals have the opportunity to obtain their Missouri Substitute Teacher Certification by completing a minimum of 20 hours of online teacher training courses approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Download the Substitute Handbook. After applicants complete the online application, they must complete all of the following:

Once completed, email Jamie Sims to receive the onboarding documents listed below. Onboarding documents can be completed electronically through the HR Office's new online platform. - Federal W-4
- Missouri State W-4
- Employment Eligibility Verification I-9
- Worker Registration Form (One-time fee of $14.00 plus $1.25 for using credit/debit card for online payment)
- Highway Patrol Fingerprints (Costs $41.75 - non-refundable)
- Technology Agreement form
- Health Certificate
- Voluntary Equal Employment Opportunity Statistical Data Sheet
- Emergency Contact Form
- Direct Deposit Form

All completed forms and required identification must be brought to the Human Resources Department of Ritenour School District.
