LoTi
LoTi (Levels of Technology Integration) research helps teachers develop and assess classroom lessons – ensuring that they are rigorous, relevant, and engaging, and that they promote student-centered learning, higher order thinking and problem solving.
Safe Use of Technology
The District’s policies comply with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA). Safeguards are in place, and safe practices stressed with staff and students so valuable resources can be accessed safely. Parents should talk to their students about staying safe online. For information about Internet safety, visit www.netsmartz.org.
Technology Professional Development
The District provides professional development supporting a high level of proficiency in the use of productivity, administrative and instructional technologies so staff members are well equipped to support students in their use of technology to learn. Staff members’ diverse learning needs are met through varied delivery methods that include face-to-face and online learning opportunities.
