Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year

July 2026

Dear Husky Academy Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year at Husky Academy. I am looking forward to reconnecting with those I have worked with and meeting others for the first time. I know I speak for all of our staff when I say we are thrilled to welcome your students back to school at Husky Academy. 

I invite you and your student to connect with me and their teachers on Thursday, Aug. 20 between 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. for Donuts with the Director. You can call me at (314) 493-6034 or email me at palmerharveyt@ritenourschools.org to schedule a 15-minute meeting. If you would like to schedule a different time to meet in person or virtually, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would also like to invite you to Meet the Teacher night at Husky Academy on Thursday, Aug. 20 from 5-6:30 p.m. 

The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 24. All students attending ACE or Husky Academy will participate in an enrollment meeting. Either Mrs. Harvey or the ACE Director, Mr. Nicholas, will contact you before the first day of school to schedule the enrollment meeting. Below is our daily schedule. 

ACE Program

Location: North Wing at Hoech Middle School, 3312 Ashby Road 

Students and families will be contacted directly by ACE staff regarding which door to use to enter the building. 

Session 1: (7 -10 a.m.) 

  • Students should arrive at the north wing at Hoech between 6:55-7 a.m., with free breakfast served daily. 
  • Classes will begin promptly at 7 a.m. All students are expected to be in class, ready to learn at this time.   

Session 2: (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) 

  • Students should arrive at the north wing at Hoech between 9:55-10 a.m. Doors will open for students at 10 a.m. 
  • Classes will begin promptly on arrival at 10 a.m. All students are expected to be in class, ready to learn at this time. Lunch will be provided to those students who would like one during this session. 

Session 3: (1-4 p.m.) 

  • Students should arrive at the north wing at Hoech between 12:55-1 p.m. Doors will open for students at 1 p.m. 
  • Classes will begin promptly on arrival at 1 p.m. All students are expected to be in class, ready to learn at this time. 


KPP and MO Options programs (high school programs)

Location: Husky Academy, 9229 Lackland Road

Students should enter and exit through the front doors at Husky Academy. 

Session 1: (8-11 a.m.) 

  • Students should arrive at Husky Academy between 7:55-8 a.m., with free breakfast served daily 
  • Classes will begin promptly at 8 a.m. All students are expected to be in class, ready to learn at this time.   

Session 2: (11:30-2:30 p.m.) 

  • Students should arrive at Husky Academy between 11:25-11:30 a.m. 
  • Classes will begin promptly on arrival at 11:30 a.m. All students are expected to be in class ready to learn at this time.   
  • Lunch will be provided to those students who would like one during this session. 


PTP program (middle school program), 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

Location: Husky Academy, 9229 Lackland Road 

Students should enter and exit through the front doors at Husky Academy. 

Students should arrive on campus between 7:55-8 a.m., with free breakfast and lunch served daily. Classes will begin promptly on arrival at 8 a.m. All students are expected to be in class ready to learn at this time. All students will be expected to exit the campus within five minutes after their session has ended.
