Dear Families and Students at the Hahn Center for Gifted Learners,

We are excited to welcome you back for another wonderful school year at the Julie Hahn Center for Gifted Learners! As we begin our second year in the Ritenour Center for Educational Excellence (RCEE), we look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and build community together in our shared space at 10901 St. Henry Lane in St. Ann.

As we prepare for a successful year, we invite students and families to join us for our Open House opportunity before the first day of school. Open House is Thursday, Aug. 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. We know this is at the same time as the open houses at the elementary schools, so please consider this as an additional option for your gifted student(s). This is a great opportunity for gifted students and families to connect with gifted teachers and familiarize themselves with the space.

Before the school year begins, we encourage families to attend Ritenour School District’s Black and Orange Back-to-School Community Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 8–11 a.m. at Ritenour High School, 9100 St. Charles Rock Road. This free event offers school supplies, health and wellness resources, technology assistance, and community services all in one place to help families start the year strong.
