2026-2027 Ritenour School for Early Childhood Education Lottery Registration

The Ritenour School for Early Childhood Education (RSECE) will be holding its enrollment lottery March 1-March 31, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Families who live in the Ritenour School District and have a pre-kindergarten child who turns 4 by July 31 are eligible to fill out an online form as part of the enrollment lottery. The online form will not be available prior to Feb. 28. Ritenour employees who live in the district also will need to participate in the lottery if they have children eligible for the program. 

Families who have preschoolers in a Special School District classroom at RSECE do not need to apply for the lottery.

There is no tuition for the preschool program. Any resident parent who fills out the lottery form anytime March 1-March 31 has an equal chance in the lottery. Please note that the district is closed March 16-20 for spring break.

The RSECE is a tuition-free program for potty-trained 4 and pre-k 5-year-olds who live in the Ritenour School District and are selected by a lottery system. 

The lottery enrollment form closes on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Notification of selection will take place by Friday, April 10, 2026 through email. Families whose lottery numbers secured them a spot will need to go through the online enrollment process. See the Ritenour enrollment page for information required to show residency and enrollment requirements. All student enrollment documents need to be completed by Friday, May 29, 2026. Please note that PreK student enrollment will not open until the lottery selection process is complete.

Families on a waiting list will be called in the order of their lottery number as spots become available.
