Ritenour School District Summer Academy takes place from June 2 - July 10, 2025.  Ritenour’s summer programs are designed to provide extra support and continued learning for students. Lunch is provided daily, and bus transportation is available. Ritenour Summer Academy is for students in grades K-12.

Summer School Classes 2025 

Program Overview

The Ritenour Summer Academy Program provides academic interventions/learning experiences in reading and mathematics for Ritenour students in grades K-8 and credit recovery and enrichment courses for Ritenour students in grades 9-12.  The length of the program is 22 instructional days for grades 9-12 and 18 instructional days for grades K-8. The goals of the program include the following:  

  • Student academic progress will be assessed to identify students who are most in need of summer intervention.
  • Intervention programs, aligned with student needs, will be implemented, and progress will be monitored weekly.
  • Teachers will be trained to implement interventions effectively and to build positive student relationships.
  • The program will focus on developing skills needed for long-term academic success. 
  • School administrators will receive data to increase the potential for continued success during the school year.

Transportation, breakfast and lunch are provided for K-12 students who participate in Summer Academy.

Summer Academy Schedules (Monday - Thursday)

Elementary Schools
June 2 through June 26, 2025 - 15 sessions (No class on June 19)
8:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Middle Schools
June 2 through June 26, 2025 - 15 sessions (No class on June 19)
9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Ritenour High School

June 2 - July 10, 2025 - RHS - 24 sessions (No class on June 19)
Class #1 - 7:30 -10:30 a.m.
Class #2 - 10:45 a.m.- 1:45 p.m.
Class #3 - 2-5 p.m.

IWC uses the middle school schedule (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.). Students ride the bus with middle school students (Hoech).

Husky Academy
May 28 - June 20 (Monday - Friday) (No class on June 19)
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

ACE
June 2 - June 27 (Monday - Friday) (No class on June 19)
8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
