Five Candidates Running for Ritenour Board of Education

Five candidates have filed to run for three seats on the Ritenour Board of Education in the April 7, 2026 election.

Candidates, in ballot order are: Brad Thomas, Robert Eaton, Penny A. Degardin, Kelly Adams and Robert Jackson III. The three-year terms of Thomas, Eaton and Degardin expire in April 2026. 

Filing dates opened Dec. 9 and closed Dec. 30, 2025. 

The League of Women Voters will host a Board Candidate Forum at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at the Administrative Center, 2420 Woodson Road.
