Important Calendar Adjustments for the 2024-2025 School Year

This winter the Ritenour School District used all six Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) virtual learning days and one traditional snow day for Ritenour High School (RHS) and Husky Academy.  

Because of this, Ritenour is adjusting its 2024-2025 school calendar to ensure the last day of school remains on Friday, May 23, 2025, and to maintain 171 student attendance days at RHS. 

Below are key adjustments to the 2024-2025 school calendar:

  • No Early Release for Ritenour High School (RHS) Students – There will be no early release on Thursdays after spring break for RHS students. Beginning Thursday, March 27, students will have full attendance days for the remainder of the school year.
     
  • Thursday, April 17, 2025 – Previously an early release day, will now be a full attendance day for all PreK-12 students.
     
  • Full Attendance May 22-23 for RHS – The final two days of the school year (May 22-23) will be full attendance days to allow high school students more time to Level Up their scores in Empower as part of Level Up Week, which replaces traditional final exams.
