RHS Junior Reagan Beverly In as New Board of Education Student Representative
Reagan Beverly, a Ritenour High School junior (class of 2026), was sworn in as the student representative on the Ritenour Board of Education at its regular business meeting on April 10, 2025.
Beverly is the sixth student representative to serve on the board. Her term will expire in April 2026.
Beverly says she hopes to make a difference during her time as a Board of Education student representative.
"I plan on working with our Board of Education so that student voices can be heard," Beverly said. “I will make a difference as a student advisor through my ideas, my experiences and my determination. Ritenour has helped me in so many ways, and I want to give back to the people who helped me become who I am.”
Although student representatives on the school board cannot vote, Beverly will serve in an advisory position and provide a student perspective on important issues the board discusses.
“Being a student representative to the Board of Education is a significant responsibility, but it also presents a remarkable opportunity to make a difference in our school community,” said Ritenour Superintendent Dr. Chris Kilbride. “As our student representative, Reagan will have a unique opportunity to voice the concerns and perspectives of her peers and contribute to important decisions that affect our school district.”
Beverly replaces RHS senior Alazaya Rhae Smith, who completed her one-year term as the student liaison to the board in April.
