Ritenour Board of Education Re-Elects Officers
The Ritenour Board of Education re-elected Dr. Brad Thomas as president and re-elected Jennifer Lohnes as vice president at its April 10, 2025 meeting. Thomas is the Board’s longest-serving member and has been a Board Director for the past 25 years. Lohnes has been a board member since 2016.
The three-year terms of Dr. M. Stacey Albin-Wilson and Lohnes expired this month. Since the number of candidates was equal to the number of open positions, the district did not need to hold an election in April. They were sworn in at the April meeting for another three-year term.
Albin-Wilson was named the Board’s delegate to the Special School District (SSD) Governing Council with Rob Eaton selected as an alternate delegate. Vanessa Henriquez-Pimblott is the delegate to the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA), while Lisa Glover-Jones will serve as the alternate delegate.
RHS junior Reagan Beverly (class of 2026) was sworn in as the student representative and will serve a one-year term. She will replace RHS senior Alazaya Rhae Smith, who is completing her one-year term as the student liaison to the board. The Board honored and thanked Smith for her one-year term at the meeting.
