Ritenour Celebrates National Special Education Day by Honoring SSD Team Supporting Over 1,400 Ritenour Students
We celebrate National Special Education Day on Dec. 2, 2024 by thanking our amazing Special School District leaders, teachers, therapists and paraprofessionals who provide services to more than 1,400 K-12 Ritenour students and more than 100 preschool-age children. Angi Fouse, SSD's director in Ritenour, leads four SSD coordinators who ensure that our K-12 students are receiving the services they need to be successful in school and in life: Nathan Dwyer (RHS), Stephanie Genebacher (Hoech and Ritenour Middle ), Emya Williams Watson (Buder, Iveland, Marion) and John Whybrew (Kratz, Marvin and Wyland). Stacy Sturdevant is the SSD Early Childhood director, and Margaret Dyer coordinates services for our preschoolers. More information about SSD services in Ritenour can be found here.
