Ritenour Recognizes IT Professionals on National Appreciation Day
On September 17, 2024, Ritenour School District will join organizations across the country in celebrating National IT Professionals Appreciation Day. This occasion provides an opportunity to recognize the crucial role our Information Technology team plays in maintaining the district's digital infrastructure and supporting our educational mission.
Led by Director of Technology Dr. Rich Wilson, Ritenour's IT department includes a dedicated team of professionals: Keyri Alcantar, Willie Bledsoe, Chuck Hill, Austin Knott, Richard Johnson, Haleigh McClain, Dakota Merriman, Josh Yarbrough, and several others who contribute behind the scenes.
The responsibilities of our IT team are vast and vital to the district's daily operations. They manage and protect thousands of devices, safeguard our networks against cyber threats, and resolve a wide array of technical issues promptly. Their work often goes unnoticed, but its impact is felt throughout the district. From ensuring students can access online resources to keeping staff connected and productive, our IT team plays a crucial role in Ritenour's educational mission.
As we celebrate National IT Professionals Appreciation Day, let's take a moment to thank these tech wizards for their dedication. Their efforts keep our students and staff connected, protected, and powered up, enabling the smooth operation of our classrooms.
To our amazing IT team: Thank you for being our EdTech heroes! Your hard work and expertise make a difference every day in the lives of Ritenour students and staff.
